This page explains what we do with information you give us. This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies and has no analytics or advertising scripts. The services that deliver it are listed below.

Who we are
We are HelloGMB Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16680860). Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@hellogmb.com. We decide how your information is used, so we are the "controller".
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it
The free preview form and enquiries. When you use the form on this site, what you type is sent to a private Google Sheet that only we can open, run through Google Apps Script, and we are emailed a copy. Google processes it on our behalf. We receive only what you choose to send: your name, business name, trade, town, contact details and an optional link. We use it to reply to you and to prepare your preview, which are steps you ask us to take before any contract. If you do not become a customer we delete your enquiry within 12 months, or sooner if you ask. We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Customers. If you become a customer we also hold what you give us to build and look after your site, such as your business details, photos, wording, quotes you allow us to use, and domain and account details. We use it to provide the service you bought. We keep invoices and payment records for the time the law requires, usually six years. When you stop being a customer we give you a copy of your site files and delete the working files we hold, apart from the records we must keep.
Messages and calls. If you email us, message us on WhatsApp, or contact us on Instagram or Facebook, we use what you send to reply to you. We keep it while we are dealing with you and for up to 12 months afterwards unless you become a customer.
You do not have to give us any of this, but we cannot reply or build a preview without it.
Who handles your information for us
- Google runs the private spreadsheet and the script that receive form enquiries, and the email we use. It processes this on our behalf.
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site and, once live, customers' sites. It sees visitors' IP addresses to do this, and may set a cookie needed for security.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages if you message us there.
- AI tools. We use AI services, including Anthropic's Claude, to help prepare websites and replies. Details you send us for your site may be processed by these services for that purpose only.
- Payment provider. When you pay, our payment provider processes your payment details. We do not see your full card number.
Some of these providers process information outside the UK. We choose providers that apply recognised safeguards for that.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, to move it to someone else, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email hello@hellogmb.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Fonts and other sites
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads. Links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
